Janine joins the Edward James Richmond team with a love for the craft that started young and a real eye for colour across the board.

She trained in South Africa at a salon renowned for blondes, where she built strong foundations across colour and cutting. Since moving to London, balayage has become a particular passion - soft, lived-in tones designed to grow out beautifully and feel low-maintenance between visits. Alongside her talent for women's colour and styling, she has a real love for gents' cuts, bringing precision and attention to every chair.

For Janine, hairdressing has always been about confidence. She takes time to understand each client's hair, lifestyle and the look they want to wear day-to-day, then tailors the result so it works at home as beautifully as it does in the salon.
